Rental process

Holobox rental: from inquiry to event

A start-to-finish walk-through of how a Holo DXB rental is booked, installed and packed down. Use this as a checklist whether it's your first activation or your tenth.

Step 1 — Send us the brief

Email sales@holodxb.com or use the Request a Demo button. The more detail in the brief, the faster we can quote. We are looking for: dates, venue, audience size, the goal of the activation, and any reference imagery for content style.

If you don't have all of this yet, send what you have. We'll book a 20-minute call to fill in the gaps.

Step 2 — Quote and unit selection

Within one working day we send back a quote covering hardware, install, content management and standby support. The quote also recommends a unit size based on your venue and audience.

Custom 3D content production, extended on-site staffing and multi-unit installations are quoted as add-ons.

Step 3 — Agreement and deposit

To lock in the dates we need a signed rental agreement and a deposit. The agreement spells out the rental period, what is included, the cancellation policy and coverage. Read it before signing — we are happy to clarify anything.

Step 4 — Delivery, install and calibration

Our crew arrives ahead of your go-live time with the unit, cabling and content. Install typically takes 60 to 120 minutes including calibration of the directional display.

We ask for: a stable power outlet, a cleared area for the unit, and someone from your team on-site to confirm placement.

Step 5 — Going live

Once you sign off the install, your activation is live. Content updates can be pushed remotely through the dashboard at any point during the rental — no need for us to come back on-site for a content swap.

Standby support is on call by phone or WhatsApp throughout. For high-stakes events we recommend booking on-site standby as an add-on.

Step 6 — Collection and pack-down

At the end of the rental period, email support@holodxb.com with the requested details and we'll schedule collection. Units must be packed in the original protective cases — full instructions are on the Rentals page.
