Preparing Your Holobox for Return Shipment

Ensuring a Safe Return: Packaging Your Holodxb Holobox

Properly preparing your Holodxb holobox for return shipment is crucial to prevent damage during transit and ensure a smooth collection process. Please follow these instructions carefully.

1. Power Down Completely:

• Turn Off Unit: First, turn off the holobox using its power button (or remote control). Wait until the power indicator light is off or changes to standby mode.

• Disconnect Power: Unplug the holobox's power cable from both the unit and the wall outlet.

2. Disconnect All Cables and Accessories:

• Content Cables: Gently disconnect all HDMI, USB, or other content connection cables from both the holobox and your playback device.

• Accessories: Remove any attached accessories like remote controls, USB drives, or external antennas.

3. Pack All Components:

• Original Packaging is Key: Always use the original protective flight case(s) or packaging materials provided by Holodxb. These are custom-designed for the safe transport of our equipment.

• Organize Cables: Neatly coil all cables and secure them with ties or Velcro straps. Place them in their designated compartments within the case.

• Accessories: Place the remote control, user manuals, and any other small accessories in their dedicated slots or a small bag within the case.

• Holobox Placement: Carefully lift the holobox by its base (never by the display surfaces) and place it securely into its designated foam cutouts within the flight case. Ensure it sits snugly and does not rock.

• Internal Protection: Close any internal straps, foam inserts, or lids within the case that are designed to secure the holobox.

4. Secure the Flight Case:

• Close Latch/Clasps: Ensure all latches, clasps, or buckles on the flight case are securely fastened.

• Locking Mechanisms: If the case has locking mechanisms, engage them (though keys are usually kept with the Holodxb team).

5. Prepare for Collection:

• Accessibility: Ensure the packed holobox is placed in an easily accessible location for our logistics team at the scheduled pickup time. Clear any obstacles.

• Documentation: Have any return documentation or labels provided by Holodxb ready for the collection team.

Important Reminders:

• Do NOT Force Anything: If a component doesn't fit, double-check its designated spot in the packaging. Do not force it.

• No Personal Items: Ensure no personal items, storage devices (unless explicitly part of the return), or non-Holodxb equipment are left inside the cases.

• Report Damage: If the holobox was damaged during your event, please report it to us immediately, even if it's already packed.
