Holobox Power Requirements and Safety Guidelines
Setup & Operation
Ensuring Safe and Reliable Holobox Operation
Operating your Holodxb holobox safely and with the correct power supply is paramount for optimal performance and the safety of your event attendees. Please read these guidelines carefully.
1. Power Requirements:
Standard Power Supply: Most Holodxb holobox models operate on standard AC power, typically:
Voltage: 220-240V AC (for UAE and most regions)
Frequency: 50/60 Hz
Wattage/Amperage: The specific wattage and amperage requirements will vary by holobox model (e.g., larger units consume more power). Always refer to the technical specifications sheet provided with your rental unit or on our website.
Dedicated Circuits: For larger holoboxes or multiple units, it is highly recommended to use dedicated electrical circuits to prevent overloads and ensure stable power delivery. Consult with your venue's electricians if unsure.
Surge Protection: Always plug the holobox into a power strip with surge protection or ensure your venue's power supply has appropriate surge suppression to protect against power fluctuations.
Proper Grounding: Ensure the power outlet is properly grounded.
2. Safety Guidelines:
A. Electrical Safety:
Inspected Outlets: Use only well-maintained, professionally installed electrical outlets.
Avoid Overloading: Do not connect multiple high-power devices to a single outlet or extension cord, as this can trip breakers or cause electrical fires.
Cable Management: Route power cables safely, away from high-traffic areas to prevent tripping hazards. Use cable covers or tape where necessary.
No Damaged Cables: Never use power cords that are frayed, cut, or damaged. Report any damaged cables to Holodxb immediately.
Dry Hands: Always ensure your hands are dry when plugging or unplugging the unit.
B. Physical Safety:Stable Placement: Place the holobox on a firm, level, and stable surface that can support its weight. Ensure it is not easily knocked over.
Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings on the holobox. Adequate airflow is essential to prevent overheating. Maintain a clear space around the unit.
Keep Liquids Away: Strictly prohibit food and drinks near the holobox to prevent accidental spills and damage to electronics.
No Tampering: Do not attempt to open, disassemble, or modify the holobox. Internal components are sensitive and can be dangerous.
Children & Pets: Supervise children and pets around the holobox to prevent accidental damage or injury.
Safe Handling: When moving the holobox, always lift it carefully from its base with adequate personnel, and only when fully powered off and disconnected.
Emergency Shutdown: In case of smoke, strange odors, or unusual noises, immediately disconnect the power from the wall outlet and contact Holodxb support.
3. During Operation:
Monitoring: Periodically check the holobox for any signs of overheating or unusual operation.
Cleaning: Use only a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or liquids directly on the display.
Your Responsibility:
By renting a holobox from Holodxb, you agree to adhere to these safety guidelines. Failure to do so may result in equipment damage or safety hazards, for which the renter may be held responsible.
If you have any safety concerns or questions, please contact Holodxb technical support immediately.
